The Excursion Programme
In many ways, Oxford is the perfect location for our International students to experience all the UK has to offer; it is close enough to visit London, it is a beautiful city in its own right and it also has a number of attractions nearby, so that we can offer students a variety of day-trips to fantastic places including:
Warwick Castle & Stratford-upon-Avon
Stratford-upon-Avon is the birthplace of Shakespeare and the perfect example of historic England. Adding to the fairytale atmosphere, nearby we have Warwick Castle; one of ancient England's finest castles and the scene of battles, dungeons and ghost stories.
Bristol & The Science Museum
There is so much to see and do in Bristol - with its vibrant waterside, fascinating history and fabulous shopping centre. Our students will enjoy the best of Bristol plus a visit to the state-of-the-art interactive science centre.
Thorpe Park
With over thirty extreme rides and attractions, and one of the world's most terrifying roller coasters, enjoy an exhilarating day out at one of the nation's most popular theme parks!
Bath
Enjoy a day visiting this historic and beautiful city, which as a world heritage site offers some of the finest architectural sights in the UK. Students will spend the day exploring Bath's many iconic attractions, including a trip to the famous Roman Baths.
Whipsnade Zoo & Windsor
Enjoy a close encounter in the morning with some of the world's fastest, smallest, cutest and rarest animals at one of Europe's largest wildlife conservation parks. The afternoon will then be spent visiting the beautiful town of Windsor, including a trip to the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world.
